Japan vs China Knife Design

Alots of people are not sure where their knife is made but only get upset at the dilemma.  Here is a comparison of the two in order to understand a little more and then be wise.
*INTERPUR-  {Japan}
A division of parent company REXALL DRUG CO.  founded in 1903 by J.W. Dart in New Jersey.
*JinLi- {China}
Originally silicon carbide/graphite Jinli Crucible established in 1885.  Currently Ren Chao Liu  (manager) in factory  "Yang Jiang YaoQun Stainless Steel Products Co., Ltd." making "Jin Li"  brand.

Both of these photos are culinary knives and show the ethical minded common sense need for cutlery.  They are intensely smelted to exacting standards.

Why be overly concerned if made in China or Japan?

The distance between these two countries is less than that same distance between New York and California.
