Proxy American Civil War

 How we ended up where we are now is always up for debate.

History can be at the center of a battle of how we remember and can be the focal point of about declining knowledge.

“Those who don't learn from the mistakes in history are doomed to repeat it.”

Merely remembering one's own personal history isn’t enough to stop I'll fate from repeating.  The way we are now is found by seeking all our past so we all can make progress.  

Some men point to certain parts of history over others and begin quarreling within the ranks.  If we agree to decide on what we need to aim for then our future may be brighter.

The Wars of the Roses (1455-87) known as the 'Civil Wars', were fought over control of the English throne.

Three hundred years later battling Civil War in North America over just who within that empire influence English speaking sovereign states like the United States of America.

The Province of Maryland was a English North American colony beginning 1632.   King Charles l, former Secretary of State, George Calvert received a land grant for it.  They ruled English North American colonies and England.

The Province of Pennsylvania was a British North American colony beginning 1681. William Penn (Quaker) had received a land grant from King George ll for it.  George ll is the most recent British monarch born outside Great Britain to this day.  Anglo-Saxon ruling over the Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish (UK). He being born and raised in Northern Germany.

"They both were bound to the Crown but they had different languages and ways."

It began with a series of violent incidents prompted by disputes over property rights and law enforcement.  A border conflict called Cresap's War (1730-37) erupted between Pennsylvania Province and Maryland Province.  King George II felt compelled to negotiate a cease fire.  A newly drafted Mason-Dixon line was rendered at Star Gazers Stone Observatory to end the conflict.  

"The Mason–Dixon line was recognized as the permanent boundary between the two colonies (1737)."

Eighteen years later (1755) half of the Province of Maryland's population were blacks mixed with white English.

American English colonies Province of Pennsylvania were mixed European ancestry with even more differentiated ethnic groups mixed in with blacks.

What's refered to as the American Civil War is actually Germans and Irish in the North waging war on British in the South.

North American proxy war may occur when native American colonists act on behalf of other countries that are not directly involved in the battlefield itself.


In order for a conflict to be considered a proxy war, there must be a direct, long-term relationship between external actors and the belligerents involved.
 
The proxy relationship takes the form of funding, military training, arms, or other forms of material assistance which assist a belligerent party in sustaining its war effort.

French involvement in the American Revolutionary War of 1775–1783, Louis XVI actively supported the North American colonists, who were seeking their independence from Great Britain. Kingdom of France secretly shipped supplies to the Continental Army of the Thirteen Colonies when it was established in June of 1775.

From a distance, according to the style of uniforms both sides wore, the American Civil War was a proxy war between the German Confederation and France in North America.

The term 'Chasseur' is French for 'hunter' and was the designation given to certain regiments of French military to denote troops trained for rapid action.  The U.S. Federal Army adopted Chasseurs blue uniforms during the American Civil War against the Confederate States Army.


Charles Ferdinand, Duke of Brunswick, was made a Prussian general within the Holy Roman Empire in 1773.  France was engaged in war with Prussia and Austria in 1792.

The 'German Confederation' were German speaking sovereign states in Central Europe that included Prussia and Austria. It was created by the Congress of Vienna in 1815 as a replacement of the former Holy Roman Empire, which had been dissolved in 1806.  

Confederate States uniforms were designed by Nicola Marschall, a German-American artist who also designed the original Confederate flag.
His design was heavily influenced by the mid-1800s uniforms of the German Confederacy.

By these historical moments, it appears the Germans in the Southern States of North America are battling the French in the Northern States of North America.
