The first mechanical corn harvester was built by D.M. Osbourne Company of Auburn, N.Y. in 1890.
The photo shown above is an 1890 corn knife that became obsolete during the dawn of the Progressive Era. This was marked "Auburn Works - Auburn N.Y." before a full restoration and the sheath I made.

The factory opened in 1907 featuring Cyrus McCormick made farm machines.
